Well, with Harry's known "disregard for rules," I'm not so sure he's
the best candidate for prefect. And, he's not the top scholar in terms
of marks.

I think Hermione probably is a natural choice, although I wonder if her
close association with Harry & Ron (and her own rule-breaking because
of them) might hurt her chances of that.

Maybe our UK members can say whether each house would have more than 2
prefects per yr (Years 5-7)? Or, is it 6 prefects per House, one or more
of whom may be Head Boy or Head Girl? Or, would there have to be 2 from
each year or is it more likely that there is a set number (say 6 or 8),
and they get chosen from the 5-7 yrs as a group? So many questions . . .

I don't think we've seen the end of Ron's jealousy, even if neither Harry
nor Hermione gets made a prefect. But, if they were both made prefects,
my guess is that he would think it was amusing (but be secretly somewhat
upset by it as well).
