Okay, if the "Snape loved Lily" theory is blown because we found out
in HP4 that Snape was a double-agent before Lily was killed, how about
this:...??
Snape was married, and Voldemort snuffed Mrs. Snape because of disloyalty
or something. Maybe even snuffed Snape Junior if there was one. That
could have happened months or years before Lord V was nearly snuffed by
Harry. That would have turned Snape against the Big V.
