Regarding the information at the end of the book, Adobe Garamond refers
to the text of the book, but the chapter headings and title page are in
a different font.

I don't remember who was looking for the font, but you may want to check
with the webmistress of the Unofficial Harry Potter Fan Club site, or
perhaps any other Harry Potter site that uses this font. The url for
the UHPFC site, I think, is www.harrypotterfans.net
