IMO - If you break/snap a wand it becomes totally useless, dangerous,
and very unreliable. Hagrid has managed many spells with his wand - most
of them well. The only one that went wron was his transfiguration spell
on Dudley - and this was explained. If breaking a wand was just going to
imapre it slightly - I am suere they'd burn/bury them or something, as
snapping is adequate to ruin a wand - I don't think Hagrids was snapped
AT ALL. The only person who hints at the mending of Ron's wand is Harry -
and we all know that his knowledge of the magical world is not brilliant.
You can not change my mind on this subject - I strongly beleive that
Hagrid spent a long time making an umberealla around his totally
unbroken wand.
