Penny,

I am shocked that you haven't responded to this one already. Not only
do we have a lawyer in our midst, but our fearless leader is a lawyer.

I know we've been over this ground before... about 4000 messages
ago... Ultimately Ms. Stouffer has no case unless she can prove that
Rowling used her frankly obscure books as the source of Harry Potter. The
defense is fairly simple: Rowling has to show plausible sources for
the elements.

Ms. Stouffer is looking for a settlement. She can't win this one. The
resemblances, and being honest there are some, just aren't close enough.
