Some random thoughts on points of publishing themes of late:

1) Andre Norton, one of the SF and Fantasy Grand master Aard winners -
real name Alice Mary Norton, (not the same mary Norton as the Borrowers
books). Publisher gave her the Andre Norton pen name when she made her
first sales around 1946, to make it seem probable it was a male author.

2) NYT Best Seller list. For Sandman fans - the "Midsummer Night's Dream"
Issue won the World Fantasy Award for the year it came out. After that
they changed the rules so a comic book could not win the WFA. Same kind
of deal as NYT list. The problem is, of course, by moving Potter off
the adult list, you cannot keep track of how many adults are buying it
for themselves!
