Hi! I am a new member. I am 19 years old, and have just recently been
sucked into the world that is Rowling's. I am almost donne with the
second volume, so no spoiling! (well, save for spoiler announcements that
will warn me in advance!) I am a double major in English and Spanish,
and reading/writing/playing the piano pretty much sums up my entire
life! I am an unbelievably huge fan of Stephen King's Dark Tower series
(anyone with me?), which is also forcasted to consist of seven volumes
(four of which exist thus far...parallels, anyone?). ANYWAY, I look
forward to discussions with you all. I might just join another Harry
Potter club run by kids! Imagination is more important than knowledge,
said Albert Einstein, and those are the words I live by. While I continue
to age, and become sucked into the world of boring, adult, unimaginative
living, I hold dearly to the reservoir inside me; a beautiful chamber
(of secrets?) where my imagination lives, and where mentally I will
NEVER allow myself to lose sight of the beauty that is in our minds. My
childhood resort, I like to call it. More and more often I am visiting
this place, because I am realizing what 9 to 5 workdays, dead end jobs,
and politics do to a person as they age. We have to let our imaginations
flourish, let our memories wander back to the glory days when we didn't
care about getting up for work on a bright summer day. Like I said, I
look forward very much to future discussions. I hope to hear from some
of you soon. Thanks a lot!

p.s. One question: We all know the Weasley family, right? Am I correct
in assuming that Fred, George, and Ron are all in the same year at
Hogwarts as Harry? Are they different ages? Aren't Fred and George
twins? But what about Ron? I guess I'm just confused about their relative
ages. Anyone? Anyone?

Bueller?
