During Harry's Divination test, Pr. Trelawney says :
" [The Dark's Lord's] servant has been chained these twelve
years. Tonight, before midnight, the servant will break free and set
out to rejoin his master".

But Pettigrew *wasn't* chained, he had *chosen* to live as a rat, hadn't
he ?

But then if he wasn't chained, why didn't he go and help Quirrell bring
V back to power ? Sirius's explanation of this doesn't satisfy me at all.

And maybe he *was* chained because somehow he didn't know how to become
a man again. But that doesn't satisfy me either.

A plus !

Do

PS : I'm also puzzled by Sirius's accusation towards Peter : "You'd been
passing informations to [Voldemort] for a year before Lily and James
died". A year ? That would mean since Harry's birth ? Would there be
any special reason for that ?
