Salut !

Are you trying to drive me MAD ?!

I've been reading all the messages about US and UK English, and wondering
why you even cared to talk about that.

I mean, French (I'm French, from France) is a language that is talked
all over the world, like English, but every country speaks it its own
way and nobody finds anything to say about it. Actually I even find
that cool, funny and really interesting. I've talked with people from
Belgium or Quebec, and I just love their accent and their different
grammar and vocabulary : it enriches my vision of my own language and
helps me strenghten my personal grasp on it.

So my personal advice is : just enjoy your differences !

And please, *please*, PLEASE, never post another message
like the one I'm answering to before first warning the
quite-able-to-express-themselves-in-English-but-not-really-bilingual-people
like me ( er... am I the only one ? ) to go and get 3 or 4 aspirins ready
at hand ! <vbg> No, seriously, I really loved it : intellectually testing
(for me at least) *and* fun to read (out loud is even better, because
I keep getting lost in the way I'm supposed to pronounce words. Ah,
phonetics ! ), just what I like !

Allez, ' plus !

Doriane ( the French who usually thinks she's good enough at English to
talk with you all guys, but sometimes feels like she's over-estimated
herself )
