You know, I just had a thought...

Although Narcissa could easlily be meant to mean "someone narcissistic,
or vain", there IS the *flower* named Narcissus... so WHAT IF (dot
dot dot...)

What if Narcissa is a member of Lily and Petunia's (flower-named)
family??? Okay, I know, it's a stretch. First of all, I realize that
Petunia only goes on and on about Lily, and I know that the Malfoys
(namely Lucius) would NEVER marry a muggle-born witch, and lalala, you
don't have to get all Hermione on me... I just figured that since lots
of people were giving out their wacky theories, I'd give you one of mine
(that I just thought up and started writing down before I realized what
was wrong with it... hehehe).
