Hmmmmmm.
Finished GoF finally.
Lord V was disembodied and could not use his wand.
Remember he specifically says that.
Upon Cauldron Rebirth (remember Lloyd Alexander and _The Black
Cauldron_? More Welsh magic tradition variation repeated) he has his
wand - CLEARLY, based on the climax of book, his original.
1) What happened to it after the attack on the Potter's house,? Why did
someone not recover it and destroy it?
2) Since it did survive, where has it been, who had it over the years?
3) If Wormtail recovered the wand to give back, how did he manage that?
4) Exactly what kind of body is V inhabiting until the Cauldron bit? Is
it something made on the order of a 'Flesh golem' in D&D terms (think
Frankenstein's monster, i.e. re-animated corpse) - is it all that was
left of Bertha Jorkins?
5) One possibility: The wand discorporated along with Lord V. during
the Potter attack. When he took possession of a real body, did it
rematerialize?
Speculations, gentlebeings?
