A couple of points on James and Lily:

Is Lily the child of Muggle parents? Or was Aunt Petunia a Squib in
a wizard family? No one ever mentions the mother & father of Lily and
Petunia, except when Petunia complains about how proud her parents were of
Lily's being a witch. What about James' family... was he an only child,
and were both of his parents already dead when Harry was born? I'd love
to see a little bit more of Harry's heritage explored in future books.

2. Why do so many people tell Harry that he looks almost exactly like his
father, except that he has his mother's eyes? Didn't I read somewhere
that JKR said that "his mother's eyes" were an important future plot
point? Or did I dream that?

3. What did Harry's parents DO for a living? Was James Potter from a
wealthy old wizarding family, that he was able to leave such a fortune
to his son?
