Inevitably, as soon as I list some likely attributes of our club members,
we hear from two male, non-parental, non-teaching, non-writing, muggles
who discovered the books by their own endeavours...

But, as for the *rest* of you... it's different, eh?

So, November 2000 for the film. Are they seriously releasing a major
box office film in November when they haven't even cast it in June? Wow.

As for the King's Cross event, I aborted my attempt to go there on my
way home from work, because there was a signal failure at Victoria,
and some other nonsense happening on the Underground. Yawn. The usual
rush hour story with London transport (no steam trains in the vicinity,
unfortunately!)

Okay then, Nick. Let's say 10.00 and decide on a meeting point later. I
suspect the place will be packed with excitable children and TV cameras,
not mention a few people hoping to use the station for travelling purposes
(a novel idea, but it works).
I'm assuming there are a *few* other British people active in this club,
who might be able to get there?

Note: Apparently, PoA was launched in Manchester - that's northern
England - last year (not sure why - any ideas???) and they had trouble
with the queues.

Neil
