"The Magicians of Caprona" was actually my LEAST favorite of the four
Chrestomanci novels by Diana Wynne Jones. All the novels have a different
setting and a different "feel" to them, so even if you don't care much
for Caprona, try one of the others: Witch Week (very good fun), Lives
of Christopher Chant, and Charmed Life.
