Ah, well, Madame Rosmerta probably doesn't wear them - the sleeves
would probably interfere with serving people drinks. I kinda picture
her in an off-the-shoulder "wench" outfit (you know, like the medieval
times restaurant outfits that show a lot of cleavage) (and turquoise,
of course) with lots of black curly hair piled on her head and bright
red lipstick. Course, in my head, she kinda looks a bit cheap, but I
think it's all in the "look".

I also pictured the robes to look like academic ones - but I also have
a picture in my head of monks' robes, too. Maybe a cross between the
two? Like very heavy cotton/linen/wool/other natural fiber fabric -
something that hangs pretty heavily. Except perhaps the quidditch robes,
which are some synthetic fabric meant to be more aerodynamic and light.

Kay, enough of this blabbering. ;)
