I am the weird one in my family, I have all 3 and read them several times
each. And my family just looks at me and says WHY? cause reading isnt
something i have time for always, but once I start a book I cant stop.

Over the summer, I am teaching a English Lit Analysis course through
series. Looking for and explaining continuity and character development,
why something happens or doesnt, and plot progression. One of the 3
series we are using is HP. We start HP 2 weeks before 4 comes out, so
when 4 comes out - they will be reading that, having finished 1-3. I
cant wait, it will be a blast.

I just wanted to introduce myself and say HI
HI.

I'm a lonely outpost fan. I don't know anyone in my own life who likes
Harry Potter -- I'm not even sure they ever read books. I even asked my
17-year-old nephew if he read any of them and he didn't know who Harry
Potter was {{{sigh}}}. I'm the family mutant, the person who spent the
first night of her LIFE staring around the hospital nursery looking for
something to read.

Girl, you sound like my soul mate! However, I'm not TOTALLY alone --
my aunt loves Harry Potter, and my mom likes him too. But I'm the most
fanatical in the family, although the excess of my "fandom" is joining
this club and buying the books and audiobooks, although I'll probably buy
some Harry Potter merchandise (T-shirt or coffee mug) fairly soon. And
the joke in my family is that I came out of the birth canal with a book
in my hand! :)
