In the 1st book, during the trip to Hogwarts, Harry buys a bit of
everything off the snack cart and shares with Ron. "Harry, who had never
had anything to share before or, indeed, anyone to share it with. It
was a nice feeling, sitting there with Ron..." He also treat H & R to
ice cream in PoA and I think in general he does share his largess with
the others in a quiet, understated way. After all, the books are told
from his pov. I don't think he's a Scrooge.
