>>>The basic point I'm trying to get across is this: if you post
a message that is all run together in lower case and full of
typos and spelling errors, then I have a hard time reading it
AND understanding it. Maybe I'm the only one, but I doubt
 it.

> I agree with the above. I think that those people who do not
want to take the time to check their spelling and grammar so
that their posts are readable, and who are taking offense at
others requests to do so, are probably too young -- in either
chronological or mental years -- to participate in this club,
and would probably be happier elsewhere. Really, kids, if
you are offended by the requests to use proper English,
wouldnt it make sense to join a club where they dont care
 about such things?

I have to agree with this as well. Taking the time to look over what you
have written is a common courtesy, like excusing yourself when you bump
into someone. The odd spelling mistake I have no problem with either,
but when it is consistent it starts to annoy me. What really bugs me is
the (lack of) capitals and punctuation. It takes me right back to my
gr. 9 english class, when my teacher would give us paragraphs similar
to that to add the proper punctuation and capitals.
