<i am a wiccan but i feel that if the christian God as i understand
Christians to believ him to be had not wanted the books writtten then
surely he would not have inspired jkr to write then. im sorry if i have
got the christian beliefs wrong. please feel free to correct me>
Well, it's not exactly like that. There are some Christians that believe
that everything good is divinely made, and everything else is the devil's
work, but, in general, I've never seen eye to eye much with those kinds.
Most Christians believe in human free will, meaning that human beings can
do what they want, and have quite a capacity for both works of goodness,
and dark deeds. It's quite possible for someone to write something
without divine intervention. With something as beautiful as the Harry
Potter books, I personally would say that God's message of love and
care for each other shines through quite well. In my beliefs, I would
say that each person when acting in goodness to one another helps the
other understand love and the ways of God more clearly. Through this,
people live their lives, and do their work, such as writing, in a way
that makes everyone's life better. So I suppose, in a way, you could
say there's some divine influence there, but I would be more hesitant
to say that God directly told JKR to write this or that.
Hope that clears any questions you had up a bit.
