Cobol:
Cobol is great... first language I had to learn at college - and that
was only 1989!
King's Cross Station:
>Margaret, you asked if the fake Platform 9-3/4 would still be standing
in October? Somehow, I doubt it, but it depends what they are planning.
I don't think it will be there either... even when I went up there last
week, there was no sign of the preparations for the fake Platform 9 3/4.
I've uploaded a new photo so you can see where they might be building
the fake platform.
See picture: Platform 9b
>I imagine it will just be some cardboard frontages and a sign, which
will be carted off the next day.
More than likely, which is a shame. But we do have to remember that it
is a working station.
>It is, in essence, a publicity stunt for a book launch, much as we'd
like it to be a shrine.
I wonder if Christopher Little will sell/give me the cardboard station
after it's finished it's rounds. I doubt it... but would be fun to ask!
Christopher Little for those of you who do not know is Jo's agent -
he is the one who is dealing with the Book Launch and new Fan Club.
