Although I was born in 1980, I'm more of a child of the '90s...but
voicelady's list prompted me to create one of my own!

By the way, I apologize to the UK members, but since I've not yet realized
by dream of visiting the UK, this is more American-based. Sorry! :)

Can anyone else...

1. ...remember the theme songs to The Smurfs, Scooby-Doo, Inspector
Gadget, Jem and the Holograms, She-Ra, Fraggle Rock, and/or Muppet Babies?

2. ...remember loving Scooby-Doo but HATING Scrappy-Doo?

3. ...on the same note as #2, remember when the Scooby-Doo mysteries
seemed incredibly complex and you were amazed that Fred, Daphne, Thelma,
Shaggy, and Scooby were able to solve them? And did you every want a
Mystery Machine of your very own?

4. ...remember when snap bracelets were SO COOL?

5. ...remember New Kids on the Block? *shudder*

6. ...remember when your dad's new computer, a Tandy 1000, was a
technological marvel? (Okay, this is more directed towards me...) Or
when it was a blast to play "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" or
"Oregon Trail" on the Apple computers with the green-and-black screens?

7. ...remember when break-dancing was cool and Dirty Dancing and Pretty
Woman were THE movies to see?

8. ...remember when floppy disks WERE floppy?

9. ...remember when Star Trek: The Next Generation was a brand-new
show? (One of my favorites, BTW...I was 8 when it premiered and I still
remember how excited I was...)

10. ...remember gathering in front of the TV to watch "The Cosby Show,"
"American's Funniest Home Videos," "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" or
"Quantum Leap"?

Now that I'm done with that refreshing (or revolting) bout with
nostalgia...

The book discussion got me thinking of a book I read as a child...I
believe the title was "The Little Lost Witch." It was about an
all-American family who woke up one morning to find a little lost witch
outside their window. They adopt her and gradually she becomes a "normal"
child. It was a pretty good book and one I enjoyed.
