Donna, I think it's wonderful that your son is enjoying the Harry Potter
books. I too have had a similar situation. My oldest son is 15 and reads
anything he can get his hands on. (His summer job is at the library) My
second son is 12 and it is such a chore to get him to read anything. I
purchased the first Harry Potter book for him for his birthday last
Sept. but he refused to read it. After my oldest and I started reading
them he still was not interested. Finally I made him read it for an
assignment he had to do for school. He soon discovered it was the
"cool" book to be reading. He now loves the Harry Potter books and we
are anxiously awaiting #4.
