Some of these are interesting, some really beautiful, and
some... er... well, some of them pretty much suck. :) A few comments...

Finland PoA - is it just me or does it look like Harry and Hermione are
necking? Must be the small picture. :)

French versions - kind of remind me of art from the early years AD,
such as you'll find on REALLY old church things.

Swedish - very colorful, a more "realistic" look than I'm used to
for Harry.

Iceland - it's a Thriller, chiller night! Man, I've seen more excitement
on the faces of government workers than that! This is supposed to be
Harry going off to Hogwarts away from the Dursleys?

Japan - fancy, different, but a bit too dark for the subject matter of
the first book, IMHO

Denmark PoA - very beautiful, I am quite fond of this one

Italy - what's up the mouse hat and little chessmen? Interesting that
they actually spelled out Joanne's first name instead of using J.

Finland - AAAACK! Man, if this is what people look like in Finland,
I'm not going there! :)

Germany - Harry Potter, professional badass. Who's the man who'll look
out for his brotha wizards? Harry! You damn right!

Just my reflections on these covers. Not to be confused with a post of
any importance. :)
