<"I have a suspicion that the reason that JKR is so *certain*
 that she
won't write any book about what happens to Harry after
 Hogwart's is
that she plans for him to die in the seventh book. Die
 fighting
 Voldemort."

<Amazing idea! I am not sure this would fit in with it being a
 childrens
 book. >

< The Narnia series would provide a precedent for this to
happen - by the end of The Last Battle, all the characters
 have died!

This brings to mind the Little Mermaid. In the original story Ariel is
supposed to kill the prince's bride in order to keep her legs and win the
prince for herself. She ends up sacrificing her own life for the prince's
happiness. I was a little disappointed that when Disney remade it they
changed the ending. As much of a fan as I am of Happily Ever After, I
don't like it when someone takes it upon themselves to change the author's
work. Just imagine what they would do to the movie if Harry died....
