I can't see Harry being killed either. I mean, even if his death was a
heroic one, it would still be incredibly depressing. I can see why JKR
is killing off a well-liked character in book 4, though -- she wants
to show kids that evil is a terrible thing that causes only anguish and
heartache, even though a lot of people are prone to think, "Oh, nothing
will ever happen to the people I love." And while killing Harry would
prove this point too, I don't think it's going to happen. At least,
I hope not! Besides, all of the books have been told, more or less,
from Harry's point-of-view. If he's killed, what's gonna happen in the
chapters after his death?
Whoa. I'm getting philosophical. Maybe it's because it's raining. :)
I still don't think Harry will die. I just have a hunch. And I don't
think Voldemort will end up being related to Harry, unless James is
somehow a descendant of Tom Riddle's father's second wife, and he's bent
on revenge. (It could be Lily, but then why would Voldemort not care
about killing her? It's made clear in books 1, 2, and 3 that Voldemort
only killed Lily 'cause she was trying to save Harry.)
Anyway, that's my opinion. I hope it's not Ron who dies...he's one of
my favorite characters!
