That sounds interesting. A bit like "Sixth Sense" I guess.

There was a cult 60s TV series in the UK called "Randall & Hopkirk
(Deceased)", about a detective, Randall, whose partner dies, but continues
to exist, visible only to him, and wearing a white suit (oh-oh: 'Heaven'
clich').

They solved crimes together, and it was recently revived, with alternative
comedians Reeves and Mortimer in the main roles.

I like the idea that death isn't necessarily final, but I suspect that,
if JK Rowling wants to make a point, there will be a lasting death for
one loved character.
