No, Simon - you seemed unusually coherent to me...

There was a point when the number of posts in here became overwhelming,
but I was determined to read them all. Result: I feel as if I've spent
more time reading messages here than I have reading the Harry Potter
books!

Last night, through tiredness, I dozed off while listening to the CD of
'Philosopher's Stone'. It was the bit where Hagrid is speaking to Harry,
en route to Diagon Alley...

I drifted off ... time passed...

I awoke with a start, and carried on listening, but for some reason,
I was having difficulty picking up the plot. Suddenly, I realised that
I was hearing it in German! I carried on listening, wildly disoriented,
my heart racing.

What on earth had happened? Had they hidden a German version after the
English one? Had I regressed into a past life, and become a Bavarian
peasant farmer? No. My CD player had flicked onto the next CD, which just
happened to be an album by German band, Blumfeld, and the first track
just happened to be a spoken word piece, which sounded like someone
reading from a book.

Says a lot for my German, I guess.
