"Each time I read a English situated (not author, just the setting)
book, the name of one of the characters ends up being Harry."
Harry was and still is one of the most popular childrens names in
the UK. This popularity was added to when Prince Harry was born. I
also think its popularity comes from its meaning as supplied by Joanna
(thanks for this - it was very interesting). Harry means: Head of the
house or warrior. This makes the name quite important etc...
"Henry, yes, that makes sense, all the King Henry's!"
Lots of Henry's in British history. If Prince Harry ever became king then
he would almost certainly be named King Henry, the royal does not actually
have to be crowned with their first name. Prince Charles has said that he
would probably take a different name when he becomes king to Charles. This
is due to the problems associated with some of the previous King Charles'.
