Not only was Harry S. Truman just Harry (and not Harold or Harrison),
he really was just Harry Truman. The middle initial, S, did not stand
for anything -- Truman just added it to his name at some point because
he thought he needed a middle initial. [According to something I read,
anyway.]

I know this is off topic, but I thought it was sort of kind of
interesting, maybe.
