Last night I attended a science fair information meeting at my daughter's
elementary school. The teacher doing the presentation had prepared a
series of slides. She had one that read:

No animals (or animagi) allowed. No cats, dogs, rats, mice or hippogriffs
may be used in your project.

One of the elementary school parents asked what a hippogriff was. The
teacher asked who knew and I was the only one to hold up my hand.

I'd say there are a few adults left to read the HP books.
