<For comic value -- (1) the part in Chamber when Ron's curse on Malfoy
backfired and he ends up belching slugs; and (2) towards the end of POA
when Hermione slugs Malfoy and walks out on Professor Trelawney all on
the same day. :--)>
I've been wanting to pose the same question, but I'm never sure which
group to *start* a thread in. My favorite, for comic value, is when
Snape tries to get the Marauder's Map to reveal itself, and it insults
him instead.
<My husband is sloowwly trudging through Chamber at my insistence>
What's your secret? I bought a good friend of mine a copy of Sorcerer's
Stone to read while he's laid up from surgery, but I think he just
accepted it to be polite. Whenever I mention anything from the books,
he gives me this half-indulgent, half-incredulous look. Like, "You're
not still obscessed with those *kids'* books are you?
