It is interesting to see what people re-read. I used to do that with
book1 all the time: the letters (I love those letters and the imaginative
ways they arrive), when Harry arrives at the Leaky Cauldron and everyone
wants to meet him after ten years of abuse and neglect with the Dursleys,
the end with Harry and Dumbledore when Harry thinks that the worst thing
that could have happened was Voldemort getting the stone and Dumbledore
tells him it was actually Harry dying.
Oh yeah and when Harry flies for the first time and the joy of finding
something he was good at.
I've never re-read much of 2 but I do love the scene after they've come
out of the Chamber and go into the room with all the people in it and
all those people are so shocked to see them, etc.
3 I just read over and over cover to cover. The one part I reread several
times as I'm reading the rest of the book is the very end when Harry is
telling Mr. Dursley about his godfather, the murderer, and how he likes to
keep in touch with Harry to see how he's doing. Makes me laugh every time.
