Hello everyone I'm Tania 23 and I'm from Athens and I don't mean Athens
Georgia!
It is obvious that I love Harry Potter for the same reasons I saw
posted. I' ve been a member for a couple of weeks but I wanted to read
old messages before posting my own, as I haven't still found the time
to read all of them I decided to post anyway.
Where you come from everyone knows the books,the author, the upcoming
movie, here at least at beginning it was frustrating.I found the first
book in Greek by chance as the side of the cover striked me sometime
in the summer , I bought it and after i read and became totally
mesmerised i decided to buy copies for my friens. None of them to
my disapontment read it! Then I started narrating the book to enyone
willing to hear it, that went much better, i had people hanging from my
every word. Since then things have changed in Greece I hear that by now
all school kids know Harry and some teachers too, and all three books
are transilated. Personally i read the other two in english ,thank god
for Amazon, so that i can at know how to spell the names of Hagrid,
Howgards or Quidich (maybe i still need work)
Lately I meet a Greek American guy my exact age, same birthday and year,
and was excited as he had read all the Potter books and at last had
somebody to talk for hours. Then I found this club so you see by now
why I'm all excited!
