Hi:

Well Jen, cj beat me but I was going to tell you the same thing
basically. I've been following this story from Day 1 and it's really
quite good (IMO). Funny thing is that Lori just posted those chapters
to Fanfic.net a few days ago and told all of us on the Paradigm of
Uncertainty listserve about that particular site. I queried whether there
was anything else worth looking at and geared for adults (preferably
written by an adult). The response from other members, including Lori,
has been that most of the other stuff that they've looked at is quite
amateurish and geared for the 10 year-old set. What does it say about
the HP craze that there are *1900* fanfic pieces posted on Fanfic.net???!!

In a nutshell, Paradigm of Uncertainty is well worth taking a
look at. Fanfic may not be your thing, but I think this one is very
well-written, creative and humorous (and for you romantics out there,
the Harry & Hermione love angle is heating up as well). :--) You may not
think you favor a H/H romance (I was always sort of rooting for Hermione
& Ron and thinking that maybe Ginny would one day be a good match for
Harry), but this storyline has completely converted me to H/H. It's set
8 years post-Hogwarts (characters are 26-27). Lori's been particularly
created at devising wizarding careers for everyone.

I think I posted a plug on it awhile back but couldn't resist chiming
in to say how great I think it is. It's definitely something to keep you
going in between HP books. Lori says she plans to finish this one up right
before Book 4 comes out and then start up a sequel in July at some point.
