CORRECTION: I read somewhere (J.K. Rowling may have said it herself)
that the casting agency is looking for someone who can do a flawless
British accent.

The kid from "Stepmom" has the right look, the right age and the acting
chops for the role. The question is whether or not he can do a flawless,
genuine British accent not whether or not he's British per se.

If you're really looking for British kids, what do you think of the kid
from "Angela's Ashes", Joe Breen?
