<<<Interesting thoughts. I came up as an "I" & definitely prefer message
boards and e-mail loops>>>

I also came up as an "I" and definitely prefer boards and email lists
over chat rooms...I have been to a few chats and usually just sit and
watch the conversation...kind of pointless.

My takes on the various houses are as follows:

Hufflepuffs are the introverts dominated by their hearts....caretakers,
we don't know who the house teacher is, but I would think professor
sprout or madame pomfrey.

Ravenclaws are the introverts dominated by their heads....researchers
in pursuit of intellectual challenges, not necessarily artistic.

Gryffindors are the extroverts dominated by their hearts....ready to
jump into anything to help

Slytherin are the extroverts dominated by their heads....cool headed
sometimes calculating which is not always bad.

I ended up as a ISTJ which would put me in
Hufflepuff (suzanne)
Slytherin (dave) or
Ravenclaw (melanie)

I am definately not a caretaker...you don't want me as your nurse. My
take is that I would more likely be a Ravenclaw....my head dominates my
heart and I'm defineltely an introvert.

AS for the main characters, gryffindor fits harry to a T....Hagrid
would be a hufflepuff.....I would think of ron as more of an introvert,
but the rest of his family is in gryffindor,sooo...and Hermoine, well
she seems to be a ravenclaw....but I think she likes messing in other
peoples's business (at least in adolescence) which I don't think is a
characteristic of a ravenclaw ... Lori has written a brief paragraph
of why hermoine ended up in gryffindor in her fanfic "Paradigm of
Uncertainty" which I think is a good explanation.

sorry this is sooo long, just my 2 cents
