Whew. I didn't think anyone would do that much research to find
inconsistencies in the books. Here's what I say to myself whenever I find
one: "suspension of disbelief". I mean, come on. These kids are flying on
brooms. Does anyone have a program that details the laws of physics that
would account in ANY detail the possibility of a broom taking flight and
being able to support a human being on it, let alone being steered? ;)
Okay, okay, it's a completely different scenario, but I'm thinking I
don't want J.K. Rowling to take another 6 months per book just making sure
her dates are possible. ;) Heck, I wouldn't complain if she forgot that
Harry's name was Harry - if she'd let me read the books 6 months early. ;)
