Well, I can say with authority, that yes, you're right.  There are 
actual classes that actors can take in order to learn how to lose an 
accent, and in the same vein, how to speak with accents and 
regionalisms.

Hi, everybody!  Now that we're on egroups, I can actually keep up 
with the club over the weekends now, since all I have at home is an
