I like to think that Dumbledore is right on top of things at
Hogwarts.
I think the old saying, "Keep your friends close, but your enemies
closer," could certainly apply here. I think Dumbledore knows
exactly
who and what roam the castle day and night. Harry is being groomed,
I
think, for wizard greatness as it were, under the omnipresent
Dumbledore, he's there to lead and guide Harry, much the way Merlin
was
a teacher for Arthur. Dumbledore is always there for Harry when he
needs him most. Dumbledore's "greatness" is quiet and gentle, he
allows Harry to learn for himself, to tap into his own bravery and
perhaps, his own greatness one day....Just a thought.
