Ebony - congratulations on your promotion!

A few Roald Dahl comments:
<I am still learning of new books daily (like Witches, will watch for that one!)>
The Witches is my absolute favorite Dahl book, I think. Definitely worth waiting for.
If someone's looking for Roald Dahl's autobiography, btw, there are two volumes - the first, Boy, is about his childhood, and I highly recommend. The second, about his adulthood, which I haven't read, is called Flying Solo.

As to the HP soundtrack, I personally am in favor of a non-vocal soundtrack - to me, it seems to convey more HP-ness than, say, Elton Jon and Tim Rice (even though I did like the Lion King soundtrack a lot). Whoever proposed that there should be Celtic influences in the soundtrack, well, I agree...let's start praying ^_^.

Recently, I've read only one fantasy series apart from HP worth recommending - it's a series about cats saving the world from evil - actually, that's not strictly true, but this isn't one of those books you can summarize in a phrase. It's a wonderful read, particularly if you're one of those Watership Down fans like I am, but even if you're not. The first book is the first step in saving the world, interwoven with the coming of age of a young Burmilla cat named Tag. There are two books so far, and the series might or might not be finished, I'm not sure. The author is Gabriel King.

The Wild Road
The Golden Cat
