I could definitely live with Patrick Stewart as Dumbledore - I could listen
to him to the whole 'Space, the final frontier' spiel all day.  However, a
group of us have been playing fantasy Harry Potter casting for quite some
time, and our nomination for Dumbledore was Tom Baker AKA the Fourth Doctor.
We came to this conclusion based on his ability to convey arcane wisdom
mixed with something impish, he has an almost otherwordly quality and that
wonderful, as Michelle said, mellifluous tone.  Just my two knuts on the
subject...
