The way I've pictured it is rather haphazard, to the point of each 
floor running into the others.  The front door under a small gable, 
with a sloped roof, dormers smathered across the roof line and 
crowning it all a small curved stove-pipe chimney protruding at the 
top.

Remember the house, looks as though it is held up by magic, and I 
suspect it is...But that's just it- it is magic so the house could be 
5 storeys on the inside and only 2 or three  on the outside.....
