Professor McGonnagal showed that she had a sense of humor during the
year 3 Christmas dinner. After Trelawney goes through her, "I
predicted myself having dinner with you" and "oh no, there are 13 at
table" Professor McGonnagal offers Professor Trelawney a bowl of
food and says "tripe?" Trelawney wasn't so "in tune with the
universe" that she didn't notice the insult.

It was SO obvious, but I thought it was really funny anyway.

I hadn't thought about that. It will be interesting to see what JKR
does with the centaurs. They have to show up again sometime, one
would think.

I suspect he agrees with Minerva. "Tripe, anyone?"
