It's not a time honoured institution like it is in the US, if that's what
you mean - I think a few schools might publish them, but IME they tend to
be trendy and progressive - so there was never a chance that my school would
have one. However, a lot of people do their own ie get a nice, blank book,
get everyone to sign it, and take pictures to add to it later on, which is
what I did. Another time honoured tradition is signing each other's school
uniform shirts.
