Yeppers, a few days ago, I sent in an email that I was getting the same thing. Penny said that might be the limit of egroups allowing a certain number of posts per day. Haven't a clue then why (it--they? What do you use with egroups?) continued to plop my email onto the webpage, just mailing out those daemons!
Shrugs...

Perhaps this has been discussed before, but I'm new here. For about 3/4
of the messages I've sent to the list, I get a bounce back message
entitled: "HANDY-DAEMON: Quota exceeded." The message consists of a
lot of gobbledy-gook at the front, and then my own message that I've
just sent. As best as I can tell, my messages are being successfully
sent and posted. So why am I getting these Daemon messages? So far
I've been simply deleting them, but is there anything else I should do?
Peg
P.S. OT: Anyone ever read the science fiction _Head Crash_, by Bruce
Bethke? Recommended expecially for computer wizards, as well as anyone
with a well-developed sense of the ridiculous. Our hero is a nerd in
Megalithic Corporation IT support. Among various other adventures, I
believe that at one point an e-mail daemen showed up that was actually a
demon. (Bruce Bethke is the man who coined the word "cyberpunk.")
