What to read in the meantime and "world literature"....

-Well I have had someone to recommend these books to me, and I had
comepletly forgotten about it. It is rather unappealing however to
have to wait for another book...
Thanks though, I will consider reading them now!
On the subject of Other books, apparently my school, which mandates
sophomore English to world literature, does not think that Brits, or
Yanks classify as "World writers" ?!?! (Just to reiterate their
intelligence the Irish are considered British!!!)
So are there any good books written by Author's from other
countries....
