I made a comment, which I now realise was in the Yahoo chatroom, about Ludo
the board game (which I remember well), and the fact that Ludo has a brother
called Otto, which made me think of lotto/lottery, both names suggesting
somewhat childish game-playing or gambling.  That's how I see Ludo Bagman -
an overgrown kid, who gambles unwisely, plays and loses.  I feel that this
weakness of his will be exploited further in future HP books. His services
will be easily bought, if he has run up huge gambling debts.
