Over on HPTour Rita the Catlady reproduced Amanda's recent post and asked:

Here's some more info:- 

The villages of Castle Coombe and Laycock are east of Bath, located in the
Cotswolds.  

According to my deep knowledge of English villagery (yeah, right) Laycock is
indeed a National Trust village and played the role of Meryton in a recent
BBC version of "Pride and Prejudice" to rave reviews. Nearby Castle Coombe
is often described as a 'biscuit tin' village, which is, I assume, a variant
of 'chocolate box' and not at all similar to 'cookie jar'.  It looks lovely
