My thoughts exactly, Penny!  I was rather disappointed with the 
rewrite when I read it a couple of weeks ago.  I wish JKR had written 
her way out of the mistake instead of changing it afterwards. (That 
is if she did do the rewrite) However, I have decided to stick with 
my personal belief that Harry's inherent magic somehow changed his 
mum's and dad's order out of the wand.  To me, after 4 months of 
reading James then Lily, reading the "correct" version seemed wrong.
