I still want to know how Voldey could have had his wand at all, considering that he did not have a body for so long.

I have an idea about your last question - I think that Wormtail himself doesn't have a wand
(? - I'm not sure about this). Voldemort needed Wormtail to bind Harry and then do a lot of
stuff that needs a wand, so it was Wormtail who had his (Voldemort's) wand at that time.
